MTC (Maritime Transport Consultant GmbH) was established in 1972 with its headquarter in Düsseldorf, Germany and is operating since 1985 a regular conventional liner service
- from the Continent, U.K. and Baltic ports
- to Spain, Italy (incl Adriatic Sea), Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Egypt, Cyprus and Greece
and vice versa.
Oncarriage to Jordan and Iraq is offered through Syrian and Lebanese ports.

MTC is specialised in the carriage of steel products, steel and ductile pipes, bagged cargoes, wooden goods such as logs, timber, chipboard, mdf/hdf, bulk cargoes such as minerals, coal, chemicals as well as special heavy lift cargoes and projects.

Since 1990 MTC is approved as regular liner carrier by the Syrian Ministry of Transport which allows MTC to carry goods for all governmental organisations and the use of vessels upto 25 years of age, without Syrian consignees paying overage insurance premiums to the Syrian Insurance Company.

MTC has performed in past various contracts and projects besides the normal liner cargoes.
