TIME - AND VOYAGE-CHARTERS Boeckmans Chartering is engaged in time- and voyage-charters of box/mpp vessels from 1600dwt upto 15.000dwt. Main commodities are bulk, breakbulk, projects and heavy lifts. SHORT SEA SHIPPING Main focus lays in the trading area covering the North Sea up to the whole Mediterranean Sea. Our day to day involvement in this short sea chartering business raised us into a primary position amongst both charterers and ship-owners. DISPONENT OWNER / OPERATOR As disponent owner, Boeckmans Chartering operates 3 box-shaped coasters. The mv Marcel (dwcc3500), mv Mariaburg (dwcc1900) and mv Marschenland (dwcc1900) are trading under Belgian flag, which authorizes Cabotage in European countries, and puts us within the highest standards of shipmanagement. In addition, Boeckmans Chartering engages in voyage- and time charters to adapt to the markets constant changing demands PARCELLING / LINER Next to the full and complete chartering, Boeckmans Chartering specialised herself into parcelling services. Combining tramp and liner service to create a perfect and workable mix for our customers. To achieve this goal, Boeckmans Chartering is working closely with liner operator Scaldic Med Line, which is operating a regular breakbulk/project line out of Antwerp to the Maghreb. FEEDERING - TRANSSHIPMENTS Out of the request of the main deepsea carriers calling regularly at the port of Antwerp, a feedering service of heavy pieces was created out of and into Antwerp. Particularly focus is set out on Morocco/South Spain/Portugal/UK. Our supercargo services guarantee a professional handling and stowing of the pieces. BROKERAGE Our day to day involvement in chartering, together with an own operating fleet, has created a valuable know how which is imperative to serve our industrial principals. Assisting them in covering the right market freights at correct terms and conditions.
